Nimble Neuron has just launched the 0.84.0 update for Eternal Return, and here are the detailed patch notes pointing out the changes. New Skins & Emotes
Transfer Student Bianca (Epic) will be available. This Skin can be obtained through the FREE ER Pass.

Patch Change Thought Process and Direction
- Changes regarding test subjects are mainly based on high-tier Ranked statistics.
- The total pick rate for test subjects that can use multiple weapons is considered as a factor.
- Adjusted Avg. Kills are calculated and used to see overall performance regarding kills, as field kills and Battle Zone kills are weighed differently. Adjusted Avg. Kills are now weighed a bit more heavily.
- We’re making a few changes to Downed States for Team Modes. Successfully reviving a teammate mid-fight is currently a bit too strong, with some characters not having effective ways of stopping revives. We’ll be fixing this by increasing the difficulty to revive and lowering the return (rate). On the other hand, players will be able to move into positions faster while downed.
- Fighting third parties in the final zones in team modes is especially hard. We’ll be trying to alleviate the problem by increasing the kill bonus.
- Chained Nightmare is a new two-handed sword for skill amp-based builds. Turnout Coat fills the slot the same way Tactical OPS Helmet does but as a Chest. We hope this can offer an alternative for Attack Speed choices that do not require a Battery.

Increase in Penalties for Matching Refusal and Leaving (Dodging) after Matching
We’re making the penalty for refusing or leaving (dodging) a match in Normal Matches and Cobalt Protocol the same as Ranked Matches.

- Legendary Items will now take less time to be destroyed.

Revival and Downed State
- When you’re revived thanks to a teammate in Duo or Squad Mode, you’ll now have less HP to start with.
- 50% of Max HP upon Revival → 35% of Max HP upon Revival
- Movement Speed has been increased when you’re Downed, but durability in late game has been reduced.
- Damage Reduction Taken when Downed 40% + Target Level*Target Level*0.2% → 50% + Target Level*Target Level*0.13%
- However, Damage Reduction cannot exceed 90%.
