The Pet Rescue DMZ mission is a Tier 5 Redacted faction task in Warzone 2. This mission tasks you to visit Ashika Island, find a dog and a cat, and then bring them to the Koschei Complex to finish the job. However, you need to deal with the Shopkeeper here and extract documents. Here in this guide, we’ll show you how to complete the Pet Rescue mission.

What Are The Objectives of The Pet Rescue in Warzone 2?

  • Loot the Cat Statue and Dog Bank Statue items.
  • Give the statues to the Shopkeeper in the Koschei Complex.
  • Extract the retrieved documents by the Shopkeeper.

First off, for the Pet Rescue DMZ mission, you need to go to Ashika Island. Here you should look for two items: The Dog Bank Statue and the Cat Statue. These statues are easily found as valuable items on the map. But you should know that there’s no specific location to find them. All you can do is loot the areas around the map till you find them.

After you have found both statues, you only need to exfil from Ashika Island with them. Notice that you will not need a Secure Backpack to store these statues. They will be added to your DMZ’s active duty inventory with any kind of backpack that you might have. Now after you have the required items, It’s time to go to the Al-Mazrah’s Koshcei Complex.

When in Al-Mazrah, get to one of the entrances of the Koschei Complex. It has a total of four entrances, and three of them are marked on your tactical map. Once inside, you need to bring a car battery and jumper cables to open the Chemical Plant’s door. These steps are all similar to what you might have experienced in the previous Tier 5 Redacted faction missions.

Now to proceed in Pet Rescue mission of Warzone 2’s DMZ mode, you need to find the Factory Admin’s Key in the dark section of the Chemical Plant. Keep in mind to bring your night vision goggles with you. And look for the key in the wooden tunnels in this area. This key will definitely spawn in this area unless another player has taken the stuff before you.

Once you find the key, you can enter the bunker that requires it. Finding the bunker in the Chemical Plant is easy, as only one needs a key to be opened. Now after you go inside, you can proceed until you see arrows pointing toward a place.

This area is the Shopkeeper’s section, and you can spot a buy station with a new interactable place where you can trade your stuff with it. Trade your “rescued hostages” with the Shopkeeper, and you will get an item from it. Pick the documents, and extract the thing ASAP to finish the Pet Rescue mission in DMZ of Warzone 2.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded is now available to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
