Want to find out how to get a Bokoblin Mask in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? Unlike the Mask of Awakening, this unique piece of headgear allows Link to ultimately avoid all Bokoblin on the map. That means those wearing it can save countless hours by not having to battle the pesky beasts. However, the mask cannot be bought in General Stores or found inside chests. This guide will display where you can get the Bokoblin and how you can use it in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

You can get the Bokoblin Mask in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom by taking on the “The Hunt For Bubbul Gems!” side quest. As shown above, Link can start this quest and reach the Bokoblin Mask location by first heading to the north side of Pico Pond in the southwest corner of the Eldin Region. If you need help getting there, it is best to simply follow the road northeast of Lookout Landing in Central Hyrule. Alternatively, Link can fly to Pico Pond using the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower just off to the east.

You will then be given the quest by an NPC known as Koltin, who should be nearby a red hot-air balloon. The character requires that players head into the cave behind them to defeat a Bubbulfrog and retrieve its Bubbul Gem. Luckily, the beast can be spotted instantly upon entering the cave. However, there is a loophole in the quest. If Link already has a Bubbul Gem in his inventory, you can opt not to enter the cave and hand over the gem you already hold. Although, we highly recommend choosing to explore the Pico Pond Cave, as the Bubbulfrog can be downed with just one arrow. The cave also holds several Rock Salts, Luminous Stones, and Brightbloom Seeds for the taking.

After you head back to Koltin, Link will be rewarded the Bokoblin Mask at no additional cost. You are then free to equip it from your inventory in order to evade Bokoblins at all times. Keep in mind this ability does not work against any other types of monsters. Thus, you should be sure nearby Bokoblins are in groups by themselves before getting too close.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
