As we said, you can get Bladed Rhino Beetles in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom in several ways:

  • First, you can find these beetles on trees and stumps in some game locations. But only at night.
  • Second, you can get the Bladed Rhino Beetle as a random drop from the Evermean monster.

First, we advise you to find and kill a few Evermeans. Bladed Rhino Beetles are very small and hide well, so you need to get at least one to use the scanner. At the same time, finding Evermean is not difficult, as these are widespread in Hyrule and are much easier to spot than beetles.

To find Evermean, visit any undergrowth forest in Hyrule. If you’re new to the game, we suggest starting with Great Hyrule Forest, Hyrule Forest Park, and Applean Forest. But as you progress further in the story and discover new locations, you can encounter these monsters in almost any region. Once you find Evermean, chop it down to kill it and collect your reward. It is worth noting that the chance of getting a Bladed Rhino Beetle is low, but you can get other items, such as Energetic Rhino Beetle, Rugged Rhino Beetle, Korok Frond, or Golden Apple.

However, once you get at least one Bladed Rhino Beetle, take a photo of it to add to your Compendium. You also should complete the Hateno Village Research Lab quest to get the Sensor Plus. So if you still haven’t done it, fix it soon. After all, using Sensor Plus, you can select Bladed Rhino Beetles in your Compendium and easily find all these beetles around you.

Whether you’ve activated Sensor Plus or not, there are a couple of locations where you can find many different Rhino Beetles. First, you should head south Hyrule and visit the dense Bronas Forest in the Faron region. The area is full of beetles sitting on trees, stumps, and ancient felled logs. In addition, you can find some Bladed Rhino Beetles in the Great Hyrule Forest or the forests of the East Necluda region. Sensor Plus is still an integral part of your success.

How To Use Bladed Rhino Beetles in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Collecting some Bladed Rhino Beetles, you can use them in the following ways:

  • First, you can brew Mighty Elixir using Bladed Rhino Beetles and Any Monster Part. This elixir increases your Attack Power.
  • Also, you can use this beetle to upgrade the Barbarian Armor set.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
