If you want the hardest target practice mini-game in Tears of the Kingdom, “Mine-Cart Land: Death Mountain” is the way to go. After completing the Fire Temple and freeing the Gorons, and after completing a couple of Mine-Cart mini-games, it is time for the ultimate challenge. As you can tell after seeing this side quest’s name, we will have to climb Death Mountain once again. This only adds to an already worthy conclusion of the Mine-Cart Land series of quests. How to beat Mine-Cart Land: Death Mountain in Tears of the Kingdom
To beat “Mine-Cart Land: Death Mountain” in Tears of the Kingdom, you will have to complete both the “Open for Business” and “Quickshot Course” variants of the quest. These can be found inside Southern Mine, just south of Goron City. Contrary to both quests, this time, we will have to head up to Death Mountain. You can teleport straight to it if you have unlocked Sitsum Shrine while exploring. The quest starts just above the Shrine.
Just like in the games before, you will be instructed to ride a mine cart. This time, however, you will be following a track that goes all around Death Mountain. This translates into higher speeds and a harder time trying to aim your bow appropriately during this Mine-Cart Land course. Talk to the Goron and start the quest by moving the cart into the lanes and hopping on it. You will have to shoot a total of 8 balloon targets this time. You will have the opportunity to shoot as much as you want until the course ends.
If you are able to hit 8 balloons, you will be teleported back to the Goron. He will reward you with the Goron Fabric, which can be used to make a custom Paraglider. This will end the series of Mine-Cart Land courses in Tears of the Kingdom.
This is by far the hardest of the Mine-Cart Land mini-games in Tears of the Kingdom. Be sure to aim appropriately and take speed into account. Out of all the Mine-Cart Land courses, this is the one where it makes the difference most. You will have a decent amount of balloons to pop, so be sure to get as much as you can.
