Want to know how to complete The Long Dragon side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? Although the world of Hyrule is full of ancient and abandoned structures and ruins, mechanisms created hundreds of years ago continue to function. Fortunately for Link, inside some of the ruins, you will find not traps but tests to see if you are worthy of getting one of the best swords in the game. With the support of the four elemental Sages, you’ll have to visit the Typhlo Ruins and finish four challenges. One of these challenges is The Long Dragon, and today we will tell you how to complete this quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

First, it is worth noting that The Long Dragon quest is part of the larger Investigate The Typhlo Ruins side quest. During this challenge, you must read the ancient inscriptions on the mossy tablets in the center of Typhlo Ruins. And following the order of the tablets, The Long Dragon quest is the fourth challenge.

As we said earlier, to complete all the challenges of the ruins, you will need the help of all four main Sages. But luckily, to complete The Long Dragon side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you only have to use the power of Sage of Lightning Riju and one arrow. Here’s how to do it.

  • Taking the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower as your starting point, head to the southeast corner of this location.
  • On the shore, you will notice a stone statue of a dragon’s head and a long body stretching along the water. Walk along the dragon’s body to the tail.
  • At the end of the tail, you will see a large stone slab in the ground.
  • Summon Sage of Lightning Riju and activate her ability.
  • Shoot your bow at the stone slab, as shown in the image above, to activate the lightning effect.
  • After that, a stone room with chests inside will appear in front of you from the ground. Open the chest to get three Topaz and complete The Long Dragon side quest.
