HP Regeneration is always helpful, so you may be interested in our article on how to get Sanke Carp in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Sanke Carps is a fish that was added to Breath of the Wild and then reappeared in Zelda TotK. Like many other fish, it hasn’t changed much and regenerates life for some time. But unfortunately, even when cooked, it has no additional effects. Sanke Carp appears in Link’s inventory as a material and is categorized as Seafood. There’s nothing special about it, but it’s good enough as just food.

The Sanke Carp does not have a special place where it is found, as with many other fish or plants. This means that you can find it all over the world without any problems. But if you want to farm it, you should use Sensor+ (if you have it) and set it to search for Sanke Carp. After that, press Y on the map screen. This way, you will always see when this fish is near you. To get Sensor+, you must complete the Hateno Village Research Lab side adventure and talk to Robbie at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab at coordinates 3780, -2123, 0251.

How to Use Sanke Carp

If you just eat Sanke Carp, Link will restore one heart. But if Link eats this cooked fish, he will restore 2 additional hearts. You can also add it as an ingredient to other dishes. This way, the dish will restore more health, and the effect will last for 30 seconds. Here is a list of dishes where Sanke Carp is part of the recipe:

  • Frozen Carp – restores 1 heart.
  • Roasted Carp – restores 1.5 hearts.
  • Fish Skewer – restores HP.
  • Fish and Mushroom Skewer – restores HP.
  • Salt-Grilled fish – restores HP.
  • Monster Stew – restores HP.

Although Sanke Carps is an ordinary fish without special effects, it can still be very useful for cooking, and its advantage is that it is quite easy to find, and you can always cook some kind of dish. We hope our guide on where to look for Sanke Carps and what you can do with it was useful.
