In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you must unlock the Momosik Shrine to complete The Death Caldera Crystal quest. This game has much more complex puzzles and mechanics than Breath of the Wild, making some missions much more difficult to achieve. The location you are going to is quite hot. You may want to choose an armor such as the Flamebraker Armor Set. Let’s go over the simplest way to complete The Death Caldera Crystal Shrine Quest.

The location of this Shrine Quest is just above the top right of Death Mountain. The place you need to go is Death Mountain East Tunnel, and its exact coordinates are 2751, 2768, 0521. Since this cave is covered with lava, it will be hot inside. Therefore, you should choose a heat-resistant armor set, as mentioned above. Or you should bring dishes that give a Fire Resistant buff to complete the Death Caldera Crystal quest.

  1. When you enter, kill the creature on the ceiling.
  2. Attach the Fan Zonai Device to the wagon a little ahead of you using your Ultrahand ability.
  3. Then place the wagon on the tracks.
  4. Then turn on the Fan to cross the lava lake.
  5. The Crystal you need to take to the Shrine is on Igneo Talus, so you need to defeat him.
  6. After defeating Igneo Talus, don’t forget to Fuse Igneo Talus Heart with a weapon of your choice.
  7. Then approach Crystal and interact with it; the Crystal will show you where it needs to be taken.
  8. Put Crystal in the wagon and exit Death Mountain East Tunnel the way you came in.
  9. Follow the laser from Crystal until you reach the Momosik Shrine.

After you’ve returned the Crystal to Momosik Shrine, The Death Caldera Crystal Shrine Quest will be complete
