The South Lomei Sky Labyrinth Maze is one of the most difficult mazes to navigate in Tears of the Kingdom. The shrines within them don’t contain puzzles since the very act of getting to one of these shrines is a puzzle in itself. There are three levels to the South Lomei set of shrines: one maze on the surface, one in the sky, and one below Hyrule within the Depths. We will go over all South Lomei Castle Terminal Locations, including some helpful tips for navigating the puzzles and the later trials in the Depths.
How To Navigate The South Lomei Sky Labyrinth Maze
To find all South Lomei Castle Terminal locations, go past the Siyamostsus Shrine and activate the dragon terminal that rests in front of the Labyrinth to open up the maze’s entrance. Similarly to your trials in the north version of the maze, the minimap is an essential tool. Maintain stamina by using air bursts and your paraglider to navigate effectively. It may be helpful to stock up on some stamina-boosting elixirs before you try the maze.
When navigating toward all South Lomei Castle Terminal locations, focus on your minimap. The South Lomei Sky Labyrinth Maze is tricky at first, but if you have direction, it can be navigated in short order. The overworld view is almost entirely unneeded for this quest, just as long as you know where you’re going on the minimap. To reach the first terminal to the southwest of your entry point, consider the following step-by-step instructions:
- Glide south, then take a sharp left.
- Continue straight south, then turn left and continue north until the second right.
- After taking a right, navigate until the dead end, at which you turn left.
- Navigate down to where you can see the terminal and land.
- Return to the starting point to activate the second terminal.
- From the starting point, navigate south until you are nearly at the center of the maze. From the center, veer left until you are at the center of the southmost side.
- Navigate by following the pathway down, to the right, and down again until you see the second terminal.
- For the third terminal, simply navigate in a clockwise rotation until you reach the terminal, which is on the northwestmost side of the maze.
- The final South Lomei Castle terminal is almost parallel to the second one. Proceed south until you reach the maze’s center, then hang right.
- Once you nearly reach the edge of the maze, return to the center of the southeastmost side, and you’ll find the final terminal.
Once you reach all South Lomei Castle Terminal locations, you can use Ascend to come back up. Activating the terminals will also summon great gusts of wind that can send you flying up toward your next objective. For each terminal you unlock, the path to the next one will become evident, especially from a floating vantage point.
How To Beat The South Lomei Depths Labyrinth Maze
After finding all South Lomei Castle Terminal locations, you’ll have to beat the last part of the puzzle, which is located in the depths. While the depths portion of the South Lomei Labyrinth in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is technically a puzzle, one would describe it more like a boss battle.
Once you reach the ground, use a Brightbloom Seed or some other form of illumination to light the ground below. Below, you’ll see a Flux Construct. Down the stairs is where you can initiate this battle. To fight the Construct, it can be helpful to employ some Bomb Arrows for some extra damage. Sticking to high platforms can help maintain health, or just going in swinging with some good healing items to back you up always works too.

The fight isn’t incredibly difficult. However, it can be helpful to make sure you have some sturdy gear before you go in. When you defeat the Construct, it will drop many items, including a core. While you may not be able to pick up that core, you can make use of it by attaching it to your weaponry. After defeating the boss, a chest will spawn in the center of the room. For your efforts, you’ll receive the Evil Spirit Mask.
