The Phalanx faction is giving you the new Strike Team DMZ mission to take down the Bullfrog in Vondel. But how do you take down this commander, and what is the best way to destroy his vehicle? In this guide, we’re diving into details for completing the Strike Team DMZ mission in Season 4, which requires you to eliminate a new boss fight to extract the Vondel map’s weapon case.

What Are the Objectives of the Strike Team DMZ Mission?

  • Kill the Bullfrog commander in a vehicle.
  • Extract the weapon case from Vondel.

This mission is straightforward, as you only have to deal with two linear objectives. However, it would be best to be well-armed and prepared for a boss fight and probably a chase by other online players. To start your objectives, you need to deploy into the Vondel map to face the Bullfrog. This new boss added to the game is only in an armored car, moving into Vondel after a few minutes of each match.

You can always see the Bullfrog in Vondel, carrying this map’s weapon case. You should know that he usually moves around the map, not the center. The Stadium, ZOO, and Castle are the areas that this boss monitors. Remember, you cannot set up an ambush from the tall buildings for him. In the Strike Team DMZ mission, you must kill this boss from inside a vehicle.

If you play solo, you must ride a car, get near the Bullfrog and shoot him while changing seats. But if you play on a team, you can have your friends ride and then shoot the boss from inside the car. However, the best you can do is stay ahead of this nasty frog as he throws explosives from behind. You can use rockets and explosives like C4 and Semtex to blow up the Bullfrog’s vehicle.

After you’ve destroyed this moving devil, you can pick up the loot from the crash site. Like some other bosses in other DMZ maps, the Bullfrog drops a weapon case. This marks this boss on the map, and as soon as you pick it, you’ll be tracked by every other player in the game! This is where the Strike Team DMZ mission gets tricky, as you must exfiltrate safely with this case.

If you die during the Strike Team DMZ mission, you will need to do it all over again for the Phalanx faction. Also, remember that the Bullfrog will always spawn in the Vondel map in Season 4, and he is pinged with an orange case sign on your tac map. If another player reaches and kills him first, you need to take down that online player and snatch the case to exfil.
