The June 29 update has arrived for Apex Legends, and below are the bug fixes and changes that arrived with this patch. Even though it’s only been a few days since the previous update, the developers haven’t taken a break. That’s expected because Apex Legends is one of the most-played online games worldwide and always has something needing updating. EA usually releases the major game content updates with the season updates, as all the online games do lately. Today’s patch isn’t bringing the new playable game content you might be expecting, but there are still changes you should check out. Here are the patch notes for the June 29 update of Apex Legends.

INVESTIGATING:

  • Playing at 165+ FPS may cause stuttering during some gameplay scenarios
  • [Windows 7] With DirectX11, game crashes upon launch
  • [Firing Range] Aim assist doesnโ€™t work on all dummies
  • Support Bins not awarding Mobile Respawn Beacons when ally is dead
  • Crashes referencing FS_CheckAsyncRequest when loading into a map.
  • Legends may rotate when exiting a Trident.

FIX IN PROGRESS – COMING IN FUTURE PATCH:

  • Button prompts may not appear on summary/death screen, including report button โ€“ but buttons still work!
  • [Control] Players are occasionally unable to spawn on any captured zones, besides the Dropship zone

As you see above, today’s patch prepares for future fixes. As some of you already know, these are problems affecting a small number of players. Now, developer Respawn Entertainment is working on a solution. We hope to see a better game experience in Apex Legends soon. The team is letting everyone enjoy the free benefits of Battle Pass, and the players appreciate that. Though the game content is satisfying, the technical problems can be unpleasant from time to time. We believe everything will work better soon.

Apex Legends is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. For more information regarding this patch, please visit the official Apex Legends site.
