The Xbox Games Showcase 2023 event held last month was fascinating for Persona fans. Atlus revealed Persona 5 Tactica and Persona 3 Reload and shared their first trailers with folks. Now, a fresh trailer for Persona 5 Tactica has just been unveiled, and it provides many details about Morgana’s character profile as well as the upcoming title’s game mechanics.
Persona 5 Tactica Trailer Reveals Morgana Gameplay
As you can see above, the new trailer mainly focuses on the adorable yet mischievous cat Morgana and shows off his abilities. Of course, those intimately familiar with the series already know much about this character and what the bubbly little cat can do.
Just like in its predecessors, Zorro will remain Morgana’s Persona in the upcoming tactical RPG. The character, known by the codename Mona, will continue to guide the Phantom Thieves of Hearts and serve as a mascot for them, thanks to its deep knowledge of the Metaverse. Also, as in Persona 5, Ikue Ōtani will continue to voice the character.
Another detail in the video is the game mechanics. The game will feature strategy RPG elements such as grid-based navigation and turn-based combat, as well as provide players with familiar details from previous games in the series, such as summoning Persona.
The game will occur in parallel with the events in Persona 5. It is marked as a spin-off as it will follow the story and universe of the original title. Besides, fans will be able to participate in battles with central members of Phantom Thieves, such as Ren Amamiya, Goro Akechi, Futaba Sakura, and Morgana.
