33 Immortals – 2024
Starting our list of game announcements during Xbox Games Showcase 2023, we have 33 Immortals. This upcoming game will put 33 players to work together during a single match. You’ll be facing some fun and challenging bosses while enjoying a dynamic match-making system we’ve never seen before in other games. This title is set to launch sometime in 2024.
Avowed – 2024
After being silent for some time, Avowed finally showed a fantastic gameplay trailer full of action, magic, and everything else we would expect from a game coming from this studio. Obsidian is known for its high-quality titles, and Avowed promises to be another one on that list. This will be one of the biggest RPGs of 2024, and you should watch out for it as soon as it launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Cities: Skylines 2 – October 24, 2023
The next installment of Cities: Skylines is on its way. Cities: Skylines 2 promises to bring the features we all love from the first entry, but this time for a new generation of gaming. You can build the city of your dreams with this game’s fantastic engine. The sky will be the limit when this game launches on October 24 on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Clockwork Revolution – TBA
Anyone who watched the trailer for Clockwork Revolution as part of all the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 game announcements might’ve been reminded of Bioshock Infinite. We say this in a good way as the style of this game is fantastic. If that wasn’t enough, this title brings time-traveling mechanics that will shape how the game tells its story. Get ready to experience a steampunk world with a butterfly effect mechanic when the game launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty – September 26, 2023
Accompanied by Keanu Reeves, we saw a fantastic gameplay trailer of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC. This expansion takes V to Dogtown, an unexplored area of Night City, to rescue the President of the New United States. A new skill tree, vehicles, missions, and more await you this September 26. Pre-orders are available now.
Dungeons of Hinterberg – TBA
Dungeons of Hinterberg was among the most colorful game announcements during the Xbox Games Showcase 2023. In this game, you’ll face several dungeons only armed with a sword. The game boasts a beautiful art style and fun gameplay. Get ready to slay some monsters once this title launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom – June 20, 2023, on Consoles
The next expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online MMO is already out for PC players, but console players won’t have to wait too long. Fable is a reboot of the beloved franchise, and this time the studio is adapting it to the new generation of gaming. Get ready to grab your Stimpaks and crafted weapons because Fallout 76 players are going to Atlantic City! This new expansion will take place in a new area which, knowing Bethesda, will bring a new style to the already iconic world of Fallout. It is uncertain when the expansion will arrive but we can’t wait to travel to a new area soon.
Forza Motorsport – October 10, 2023
Fire up those engines because Forza Motorsport lands on October 10! This fantastic new game will feature the high-speed gameplay we all love with some famous cars from different brands. Cadillac and Chevrolet are among the few brands we’ll see when we take the tracks in October. Forza Motorsport will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Jusant – Fall 2023
Of all the new game announcements we saw during the Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Jusant stands out as a beautiful puzzle-solving game. You’ll be climbing and jumping around colorful scenarios while trying to solve some of the fun puzzles this game will feature.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess – TBA
Powered by the RE Engine, Capcom’s new title, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, is set to bring an action-adventure game for fans of the genre. This game brings the style we love from Japanese folklore and the action we enjoy so much from different Capcom games.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – Early 2024
The next Yakuza title is coming in 2024. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth puts Kasuga Ichiban and Kazuma Kiryu in a big adventure that fans from the series can enjoy. We hope to see more details of this game in the coming months.
Metaphor: ReFantazio – TBA
Moving away from the school setting of the Persona series, Metaphor: ReFantazio was one of the biggest announcements during the Xbox Games Showcase 2023. Overwatch 2: Invasion – August 10, 2023

Star Wars Outlaws – 2024
The first open-world Star Wars game is coming! Set between Episodes 5 and 6, this game will feature a large world set in the Star Wars universe. This game is being developed by Ubisoft, and we’ll likely learn more this month after its showcase. In any case, we’re happy to see this long-awaited title coming soon.
Starfield – September 6, 2023
There’s much to say about Starfield, but we’ll keep it short. This game is one of the biggest RPGs of the year, and Bethesda is behind it. The game had its own long showcase and featured many of the things we’ll see in the game. From building ships to boarding enemy vessels, this is Bethesda’s biggest game, and we can’t wait to play it. Plus, there are some fantastic goodies for those who get the game’s deluxe edition.
Still Wakes the Deep – 2024
Still Wakes the Deep is a horror game made by the minds behind Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. This title is everything you can expect from the studio, and it’ll bring horror to fans of the genre. If you want to play a scary game in 2024, this should be on your to-play list.
Towerborne – 2024
Made by those who created the Banner Saga series, we have Towerborne. A solo or co-op game that’ll be familiar to those who played the aforementioned franchise. You’ll take the role of a hero destined to save humanity. By the looks of it, it seems like a fun game that everyone should try when it launches sometime next year.
