Want to know how to get a Cuttlefish Skin Fragment in Dave the Diver? To complete missions, explore the depths of the sea, and catch fish for the restaurant, you need to upgrade your equipment. And although some upgrades can be bought or found in containers at the bottom of the Blue Hole, you must hunt specific fish to get some rare components. One of these materials is the Cuttlefish Skin Fragment. Luckily, this material is easy to get, so all you need to know is where to find the right fish.

As the title suggests, to get Cuttlefish Skin Fragment in Dave the Diver, you must find and defeat the Cuttlefish. This fish lives in the Blue Hole at a depth of 50 to 130 meters. Cuttlefish often swim in pairs or small groups. In addition, you can encounter these fish both during the day and at night. It is worth noting that dangerous fish swim near Cuttlefish very often, so you should take a gun to dispatch them and then search for the fish you’re looking for.

The main problem with farming Cuttlefish Skin Fragment is that this material has a very low drop rate, so you will have to spend some time to get it. But there are several ways to get Cuttlefish Skin Fragments faster:

  • Although the Cuttlefish lives relatively shallow, you should upgrade your Air Tank and Diving Suit to at least level 2. Otherwise, you can research only the upper layers of this fish’s habitat, and farming Skin Fragments will take much more time.
  • Like all fish in Dave the Diver, Cuttlefish has a star rating. And to get the Cuttlefish Skin Fragment, you need to make sure that its rating does not fall below 2 stars. Luckily, items such as the tranquilizer or net gun will help you with this.
  • An easier way to get this material is to use a Harpoon. You only must approach the Cuttlefish as close as possible, aim, and shoot from the Harpoon. But it is best to upgrade your Harpoon before hunting as it will make the task easier. Also, beware of Cuttlefish ink while hunting.
  • Among other things, to increase the drop rate for catching Cuttlefish, you can use a knife or any other melee weapon.
