Want to know how to complete the Time to Fly quest in WoW Dragonflight? Many essential flying changes have been made with the World of Warcraft Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5. You’ll now automatically unlock flying when you reach level 30, meaning you’ll no longer need to visit the Stable Master. In addition to the flying update, WoW introduces two brand new mounts: the Harbor Gryphon and the Scarlet Pterrodax. You can get these two unique mounts by completing the Time to Fly quest.ย

Once you reach level 30, the Time to Fly quest will be unlocked for your character. This quest is completed differently for both factions. You’ll need to go to Zandalar if you’re a Horde and Kul Tiras if you’re an Alliance. You can teleport to these areas using portals in Orgrimmar or Stormwind. The Time to Fly quest locations are Dazar’alor and Boralus Harbor in WoW Dragonflight.

Horde players need to go to Dazar’alor and find the Stable Master there. A quest will be activated when you arrive in Dazar’alor, so you can track it down with your yellow arrow. Find the NPC named Beast Master Kalatak and complete the quest. He will reward you with the Scarlet Pterrodax mount. This red and flying dinosaur will take you back to the days of the Battle for Azeroth.

Alliance players need to go to Boralus Harbor and talk to the Stable Master there. Stable Master in Boralus Harbor is located at the end of the profession area. When you hand over the Time to Fly quest to the NPC named Leila Stafford here, you will receive the Harbor Gryphon mount as a reward. The Harbor Gryphon is a magnificent and majestic mount with the appearance of an eagle. You will definitely feel like you are an Alliance when riding this mount!

Now that it’s more straightforward and free to fly in World of Warcraft, you can embark on an adventure with your new mount in no time. Moreover, if you have characters in both factions, you can claim both mounts. This is definitely an update that will make many WoW players happy!
