WoW When Time Needs Mending Quest Walkthrough
To begin the quest, you must head to the Thaldraszu. Travel to Tyrhold, near the Creation Catalyst, and find Soridormi. She’ll hand over the When Times Mending quest after you speak with her. You only need to complete a Time Rift event in Thaldraszu to complete the quest.
Time Rift weekly quests were added to the game in the most recent update of WoW Dragonflight. Multiple Time Rifts are scattered across the Dragon Isles, but the quest will lead you to a rift near Tryhold. All Time Rifts are marked on your map as horn icons. A rift will look like a giant portal you can interact with, leading you to begin the event.
How To Complete A WoW Time Rift
Time Rifts are two-phase events. The first phase has you fight against a wave of enemies. The second phase has you enter the portal, teleporting you to an alternate timeline where a great evil has triumphed over the lands. You must defeat the boss on the other side of the rift to complete the Time Rift.
There are seven alternate realities that you can potentially enter during the Time Rift.
- Azmourne: The Scourge has taken over Azeroth.
- A.Z.E.R.O.T.H.: King Mechagon has succeeded in conquering the land and annihilating all organic life.
- Azmerloth: Murlocs are the dominant species.
- Azewrath: The Burning Legion rule after winning the War of the Ancients.
- Azq’roth: The Black Empire and the Old Gods have ravaged the planet and made it decimate.
- Warlands: The faction war between the Horde and the Alliance is ongoing.
- Uldertoth: The Titans are in charge.
Once you’ve completed the Time Rift, you will be rewarded with Paracausal Flakes, Soridormi reputation, and bonuses for cosmetics and gear. There’s also the chance of a Dilated Time Capsule dropping after beating the boss.
After you finish one Time Rift, return to Soridormi to complete the When Time Needs Mending quest. Your reward for finishing the quest is a Contain Paracausality, which contains Gold, Paracausal Flakes, Soridormi reputation, and other currencies.
What Is the When Time Needs Mending Bug?
There are reports that players can’t complete the When Time Needs Mending quest while in a raid group. This has become inconvenient for many players, as raid groups allow parties of over 5 five players to join forces to complete a task.
A large group makes finishing Time Rifts much easier. However, to avoid this glitch, it’s best to accomplish the quest with a small party of at least five players or less.
