If you don’t already know, the Brightfall Challenge in Destiny 2 is a part of the Solstice 2023 Event, and you should learn how to complete it. The Brightfall Challenge can reward you with impressive rewards, including the Flamekeeper Title. Though, the challenge is precisely that–a challenge. It requires you to run the Vanguard Ops missions quite a few times, but some things will make it easier. Who can say no to more progression scores for each Vanguard Ops run? Not you, hopefully! Keep reading to learn how to complete the Brightfall Challenge in the Destiny 2 2023 Solstice Event.

If you’ve tried them out already, you’ll notice that you only get 7% progression for each Vanguard Ops run. There is a way to boost that number up to 10%, involving Sunlit Armor. This also goes for Nightfall Strikes. Completing a Nightfall Strike on Hero difficulty will reward you with 10% progression. Though, if you wear a complete set of Sunlit armor, that number can be boosted up to 15%.

Wearing a full set of Sunlit armor can help you to complete the Destiny 2 Brightfall Challenge much faster, either by completing 10 Vanguard Ops runs or 7 Nightfall runs rather than much more of them. This can make a huge difference when it comes to completing as fast as possible.

When you complete the Destiny 2 Brightfall Challenge, you’ll receive an Enhancement Core, a Kingling, and an Event Ticket. Kindling increases the sparkles and glow that surround your Sunlit armor. Event Tickets are used to purchase specific Solstice cosmetic items.

You’ll soon realize that wearing your Sunlit armor will help you out with several other activities within the Solstice Event, including Crucible and Gambit. Like with the Brightfall Challenge, wearing your Sunlit armor can increase the progression you receive within each activity, making it quicker and easier to complete.

The Destiny 2 2023 Solstice Event will be active until August 8, 2023, at the time of the weekly reset. You can only earn Solstice gear and weapons while the event is happening, along with event-specific forms of currency like Kindling, Event Tickers, and Silver Leaves. Be sure to get as much progression done as you can and earn as many rewards as possible!

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
