Want to know how to get and use Blood Moon Essence in Remnant 2? As you progress through Remnant 2 and visit new unique worlds, you must collect tons of materials and save various in-game currencies. After all, besides the items and weapons you get for solving puzzles and defeating bosses, the best equipment will have to be bought, crafted, and improved. Of course, it will not be difficult for you to get Scrap or accumulate Lumenite Crystals, but searching for the Blood Moon Essence can confuse some players. This material is exclusive to the wooded world of Yaesha, so you can only get and use it there.

As we said, to get Blood Moon Essence in Remnant 2, you must visit the world of Yaesha and wait for the Blood Moon phenomenon in the Dark Woods. After that, small purple lights called Root Wisps will start flying around this location. You just need to shoot them, after which their essence will move into your inventory. You don’t need to collect loot so the only difficulty is finding and hitting these creatures.

Unfortunately, you cannot accumulate too much essence during one Blood Moon phenomenon, but you can speed up this process. After completing the Water Harp puzzle and meeting with Ravager, you can choose to kill or revive the Doe. If you decide to kill the guardian of the forest, the world of Yaesha will gradually die. But Blood Moon and Root Wisps will become much more frequent in this world, which allows you to farm as much Blood Moon Essence as you need.

Once you’ve accumulated some Blood Moon Essence, the world of Yaesha is the only place you can use it. All you need to do is find the Bloodmoon Altar all over Yaesha. This altar looks like a small crafting station slightly smaller than the player and with a Blood Moon image. You can also see it on the minimap as a small blue icon.
