This is the problem with meeting a partner on a show like The Bachelor. The show itself sends you on amazing date after amazing date. They put you in an environment that is very conducive to falling in love. But once couples are off the show, how can they possibly meet the high standard put in place by the show? There are no more personal chefs and no more weekend getaways with free booze.
The kicker is that people actually liked these two and thought they made a great pair. You expect some couples to break up but this news kind of blindsided people. The two posted about the split to their fans (shared below). What people find odd is that there was no specific reason for the breakup given. They just explained that they tried and couldn’t make it work any longer. We also need to remember that just because they are in the public eye doesn’t mean they owe us any kind of explanation. Their relationship is ultimately their business. But they did feel obligated to let people know. Fans of the couple are beside themselves, but these things happen. Especially on this show.
