Franchise Mode remains a favorite for many players, and in Madden 24, they’ve revamped the Relocation feature so you can move teams around cities more freely. There are no owner limitations now. Instead, a coach can relocate all the same. Immediately, when you decide to relocate, you can brand your team and choose the city. We’ll break down all the available teams, the new cities added, and how the Relocation feature works.

How Relocation Works
As stated before, you don’t have to be an owner to relocate your team. The Madden 24 Relocation process lets coaches move teams around. Also, team names are not limited to cities. Instead, you can move any team around and keep the name branding regardless of the city. The only exception is with The Oilers since they’re exclusive to Houston.
If you’re unsure how to handle the Relocation feature, follow along with these steps:
- Head into Career Settings and toggle “Relocation Settings” to “Everyone”
- In Franchise mode, be sure you’ve chosen either “Owner” or “Coach”
- Manage your team and select “Relocate”
- Choose where you want to go, select your stadium, and play
There is no waiting period now. The Relocation feature in Madden 24 works if you are in Week 1. So, you don’t have to cycle through weeks and weeks to make the team you want to play with. But you can only relocate once per season.
