Bahari Bay is home to a huge variety of wildlife and plants within the world of Palia. Of these is the invasive species of crab called the Vampire Crab. The Vampire Crab is labeled as an insect in the world of Palia. It sucks the life out of the local population, and everyone in Bahari Bay would be better off without them. It’s not hard to catch this animal if you know what you’re doing, so we outlined how and where to find the Vampire Crab in Palia.

So, you can find and catch Vampire Crabs by using Sticky Smoke Bombs so that they slow down a little bit once they become alerted to your presence. These can be very skittish creatures, so once they are alerted, they will run very quickly in a straight line and then burrow directly into the ground. Because of this, it can be a bit difficult to catch them. You’ll also have to do this specifically between 6 pm and 3 am because they are not available at any other time.

When you sell them, they go for a rate of 145 Gold for the Base value and 217 for the Quality value! Considering that, you’ll want to be more careful than normal when sneaking up on Vampire Crabs so that you can catch a bunch and make a fortune. These creatures also generate about 0 – 7 Silk Thread when they are caught. You can use this thread to create silk, which, in turn, can be used to make different furniture sets like the Bellflower Bed and the Capital Chic Bed.

Where To Find Vampire Crab in Palia

You can find Vampire Crab on the beaches that are around the Flooded Fortress. As I mentioned before, they are only available between 6 pm and 3 am and are incredibly fast once they are alerted. If you’re looking for this specific crab, you’ll want to make sure that you do a good job differentiating it from the Bahari Crabs since the Vampire Crabs are more red. This information is going to be important for the Vault of the Waves: Spooky Bundle quest as well as for the following accomplishments:
