Britney Spears is less than satisfied with the conventional omelette dishes served in restaurants, opting to showcase her cooking ideas for a change. From singing to painting, Britney has proven herself to be a born artist who knows just how to express herself. While she’s evidently a natural in these aspects, cooking hasn’t exactly been her strong suit. That changed in 2021 when the crooner decided to take on cooking as a new passion. Since then, she’s occasionally shared videos of herself making some of her favorite dishes on the gram. Additionally, insiders have also confirmed the star was indeed learning to cook, among other improvements amid her family drama.

It seems the crooner is getting better at it – enough to create her own recipe and diss professional chefs who “don’t just get it!” On Tuesday, Britney Spears took to Instagram to share a video of herself cooking a special omelette dish in her kitchen. Her caption directly questioned omelette recipes served in restaurants out there, which never seem to meet her tastes. She wrote,
“Why don’t restaurants serve bell peppers in omelettes ??? That’s how I like it !!! It’s the only way …they are so sweet.”
The video showed the star dressed in a cozy outfit as she embarked on the cooking escapade. Sure enough, she had her secret ingredient, the bell pepper, on hand to spice up the dish. Britney Spears began her omelette prep by dicing one large yellow bell pepper into chewable chunks. Next, she expertly broke two eggs into a pan, heating them up on the stove before adding the diced vegetable into it. Next, the icon went in with some salt, which she sprinkled on the chopping board. She proceeded to dice a large tomato into tiny chunks as well, which she also added to the mix.
Finishing off with some mozzarella cheese, Britney stirred the mixture and turned it into a plate, adding more salt to the taste. The omelette looked delicious, with the colorful vegetable mix further uplifting its aesthetic and proving Britney Spears’ cooking prowess.
Britney Makes a Sandwich
While rare, this isn’t the first time Britney Spears shared a video of herself cooking. Back in April 2021, the songstress shared a video of herself recreating a unique sandwich she fell in love with decades ago. The weird recipe left fans confused but reflected just how much she enjoyed her newfound passion. Within months, the star indeed confirmed her love for cooking, announcing to the world she planned to do less posting and more cooking going forward.
Although she’s barely kept her word in the last two years, it appears Britney Spears is revisiting her cooking passion, evident in her omelette preparation video and another recent post showcasing a continental dish.
