Did you know that the Origin Perk Specialization Perk improves the effects of the Nanotech Tracer Rockets Origin Trait in Destiny 2: Season of the Witch? The Origin Perk Specialization appears twice in the Seasonal Artifact. Knowing what the Nanotech Tracer Rockets Origin Trait does is essential so you can plan your build accordingly. Let’s learn how the Nanotech Tracer Rockets Origin Trait works in Destiny 2: Season of the Witch.

The Nanotech Tracer Rockets Origin Trait has been around for a while, as it was added to the game on February 24th, 2023. Nanotech Tracer Rockets is craftable on five weapons and can be rolled on nine different weapons. However, it does stack with mods of similar types.

Nanotech Tracer Rockets Origin Trait:

  • Landing multiple hits turns your next shot into a homing micro-rocket.

When you score multiple hits in a short time, your weapon shoots a tracking rocket that matches the Elemental Damage type of your weapon. Each projectile deals both impact and explosive damage.
% of Magazine Capacity required as landed hits:

% of Magazine Capacity required as landed hits:

  • Sniper Rifles: unknown
  • Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, Submachine Guns: 45%
  • Grenade Launchers: 30%
  • Machine Guns: 25%
  • Fusion Rifles: unknown

Two perks will improve the effects of the Nanotech Tracer Rockets Origin Trait; both are included in the Season 22 Seasonal Artifact:

  • Origin Perk Specialization I
    • The benefits provided by the Head Rush, Nanotech Tracer Rockets, Unsated Hunger, and Cursed Thrall Origin Traits are now largely improved.
  • Origin Perk Specialization II
    • Any weapons that have the Head Rush, Nanotech Tracer Rockets, Unsated Hunger, and Cursed Thrall Origin Traits are always overcharged whenever this modifier is active.

What Weapons Have Nanotech Tracer Rockets?

There are a total of nine weapons that can have the Unsated Hunger Origin Trait that the Origin Perk Specialization Season Artifact perks can improve:

  • Round Robin
