Is Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon available on Microsoft’s Game Pass? The Game Pass is a subscription service on Microsoft-owned platforms, including the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Subscribers can play a library of video games available on Game Pass. Microsoft is constantly updating the pass to include new games. Several recent games even became available on the Xbox Game Pass at launch. Armored Core fans want to know if the first mainline title in the franchise in ten years, Fires of Rubicon, is on the Xbox Game Pass on launch.

Titles that hit the Game Pass on the launch date tend to be games made by Microsoft-owned companies. For example, Xbox Game Studios is publishing the upcoming Forza Motorsports game. The new Forza will launch on the Xbox Game Pass on October 10. That means subscribers of Game Pass can play Forza Motorsport without purchasing the full game.

Armored Core 6 was developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Neither company is associated with Microsoft or the Xbox brand. FromSoftware developed Ninja Blade for the Xbox 360 as part of the Microsoft Game Studios in 2009. However, the studio hasn’t worked with Microsoft in any significant capacity since then. On a side note, Sony also owns a 14% stake in FromSoftware.

Armored Core 6 did not launch on the Microsoft Game Pass for Xbox and PC. Even though Sony partially owns FromSoftware, the game has been released on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s possible Armored Core 6 will eventually make its way on the Game Pass at some point. After all, several Sony and other Japanese studio games have made their way onto the Game Pass.
