Having a mega-franchise requires plenty of work to keep track of what has happened and what will happen. Marvel is publishing a book to officially confirm the MCU timeline. A trailer was released to get a clearer picture of how in-depth this will be (seen below). Authors Anthony Breznican, Amy Ratcliffe, and Rebecca Theodore-Vachon will detail every storyline and character to simplify the most important pieces of the movies and shows across Marvel Studios.
The MCU timeline will be broken down, but that will only fill a handful of pages. This book will go further by breaking down a character’s appearances and stories, references, and fun information, like how many times aliens have invaded Earth and the history of Captain America’s shield.
The MCU Official Timeline Getting Published by Marvel as a 344-page Book
The book will start from Iron Man and go to Loki season 2. This will fill all of the Infinity Saga and keep people up to date on the Multiverse Saga. A single project will be broken down by its individual beats. As seen in the example images for Iron Man, it will start with Tony Stark’s near-death experience, the creation of the Mark I suit, and through to the iconic “I am Iron Man” line at the film’s conclusion. Every show and movie will get a similar treatment.
The MCU timeline would not exist without filmmakers and creative leaders. That is why the book will begin with a foreword from Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. Known as the architect of the MCU, he will lead us in the explanation and examination of the franchise’s various projects.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline will be published by DK. Pre-orders are live, with the book arriving on October 24. It will cost $50 for a hardback copy or $19.99 for an eBook.
