In the newest JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R trailer, Leone Abbacchio was revealed to be joining the playable roster. Despite being a hugely important character in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, the ex-police officer has yet to become playable in the cross-over fighting game. This may be due to his lack of offensive capabilities compared to other characters and his general support role in the series. However, now, Abbacchio finally joins the roster, rounding out the members of Part 5’s Passione as playable fighters.
A JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Trailer Brings Us New DLC
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is a cross-over fighting game that features characters from the show JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Since the story of Jojo’s is split into parts that happen almost entirely independently from one another, characters in different parts rarely have the chance to interact. However, this fighting game changes that by having all characters from throughout the series face off against one another. Sadly, a few weren’t included in the game’s initial roster due to the sheer number of characters in the show. Luckily, based on this new trailer, Abbacchio will now get his time to shine as a playable fighter.
Abbachio Recreates an Iconic Meme With His Abilities
In the new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R DLC trailer, we see Abbacchio share his loyalties and connection with Bucciarati, in his gruff way. Though there isn’t any official commentary or descriptions, the trailer shows off some of his moves as well. This includes using a tandem attack with Moody Blues, as well as a very interesting-looking ultimate ability. After kicking the enemy away, Narancia and Mista join Abbacchio to recreate one of Jojo’s most iconic memes. Besides this little is shown about the character, though it is nice to know that he will join the roster. Hopefully, more information will be released soon.
Abbacchio will officially join JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R on September 1st. He will be the first of three characters available on Season Pass 2.
