Just like in most RPGs, in Starfield, you can also earn and spend money. This is an integral part of the gameplay, and if you can get rich quickly, it will be much easier to progress further. Next, you will learn how to get Credits fast in Starfield. The game is huge and gives you many opportunities to get intergalactic currency, so it is important to focus on getting it to purchase useful stuff for your trips. Below you will see the best ways to get more money.

Starfield: How To Make Money Fast

There are so many ways you can make money in Starfield that you might not even know about all of them. Below, we’ll tell you about them in order, from the most effective ways to earn Credits to the less popular ones.

Theft and Piracy

Players can increase their chances through various skills.

Probably, the first thing that comes to your mind to get Credits fast in Starfield is to rob others, and it is indeed an effective method. This way, you can earn money without any effort or investment, but it’s not as easy as it may seem.

While exploring planets and outposts, you can find many NPCs and steal their money, using a bunch of different ways, including pickpocketing. Besides, we recommend picking locks and safes with more valuable items. Your main goal is to carefully and thoroughly explore each area and character to make the most of it. But be careful because if you are caught stealing, you will have to pay for it.

If you want to rob even more, you can gather your team and engage in piracy, which will bring you incredible profits. Here, we are not talking about NPCs or safes, but about entire spaceships that you can raid to steal precious items. You can join the Crimson Fleet faction, as these guys are good at plundering, so it will be much easier for you to get rich with them. Rob planets, caravans, travelers, and even steal a whole spaceship to sell it in Space Ports. But remember to be careful and stay safe, since illegal stuff is dangerous.

Looting and Smuggling

Other effective methods to get money fast in Starfield are looting and smuggling. These two are a bit less effective than the previous method but still useful.

Looting does not mean robbery, but rather the search for useful items or getting them from dead enemies. While exploring planets and other areas, you can find many hidden places that may contain some goodies. Thus, by simply being attentive, you can not only get rich but also acquire useful materials and weapons that will be useful to you in the future. The same goes for dead enemies. Indeed, looting them can be considered robbery, but they are already dead, so why would they want these things?

Smuggling is an entirely different side of the coin because it can still be classified as robbery. By transporting contraband, you can make a lot of money, but you also put yourself at risk. The main point of distribution of contraband will be the city of Neon, and one of the main products is the drug, also known as Aurora. Your ship will often be scanned for prohibited items, but after a successful delivery, you will receive a good reward.

Own a Base and Trade

Among other things, you will also be able to build your own bases on different planets to farm resources and trade with others. This may take you some time and effort, but this type of earning can be considered more passive. As you probably know, there are more than 1,000 planets in the game, and by building outposts on them, you can farm various resources to create even more bases in the future, or simply develop your current ones.

Different shops and merchants will be waiting for you on other planets and bases. All the loot you find or steal can be sold to them, but here you also need to be careful. For example, weapons are best sold in arms shops because they will be more appreciated and therefore paid higher. In addition, to get even more money from your sales, you can choose a Diplomat background, which will allow you to spend less money on the purchase and get more for the sale. With the right approach, you can become a good trader and get more Credits for future travels.

Congratulations, now you know how to get Credits fast in Starfield, so we hope you won’t face any lack of money in your space adventure.
