Those who focus on the main quest will only spend 40 hours; time may vary depending on how many things you see while exploring the game’s planets. While some people recommend rushing the main story to see what’s new in New Game Plus, we recommend you take your time to learn everything the game has first.

And that’s everything related to Starfield main and faction quests and how long it’ll take to beat. If you do faction quests, you’ll spend more time in the game, and we recommend you do so. Doing faction questlines unlocks some neat rewards you might need for the main story. If not, the game’s main quests are easy to tackle and shouldn’t present many challenges once you unlock some of the game’s best mechanics.

Starfield is available on Xbox and PC.
