From time to time, you will need to change ships to complete some missions more comfortably or just for fun. Luckily,ย Starfieldย gives you plenty of options to choose from andย modify different ships, so you’ll definitely find something for you. If you can’t decide or are just looking for a decent alternative, check out our top 10ย Starfieldย ships. We have chosen the best spaceships we have found in the game. Of course, it may be difficult to compare spacecraft of different types, but each of them has its own advantages, and we will describe them below.

Top 10 Best Ships in Starfield

Before we begin, we would like to note that there are several types of ships in the game, which can be categorized as follows:

Type Advantage
A Excellent mobility
B Good mobility and attack performance
C Best attack performance

These factors will not affect the ranking of the ships at the top. However, we will still show the type of each of them if you are looking for a vehicle specifically for attack or mobility.

10. Crimson Fleet Reaper III – Type B

This Crimson Fleet ship is a solid replacement for the Frontier. The medium type says that it will be universal and good for mobility and attack. The vessel is perfect for safe transportation of goods, as it has strong shields and 1,160 cargo. The only downside is its fuel reserve of 140, but this can be modified for aย certain number of Credits.

You can get it after you join the Crimson Fleet by visiting the faction headquarters. Its price isย 235,000 Credits.

9. Hoplite III – Type B

This ship inย Starfieldย is almost no different from the previous one, except for the 800 fuel reserve. It also has a lower cargo capacity, but this can be easily resolved during ship modifications. Nevertheless, this ship will be a great choice for long journeys and mission completion.

You can buy it at Deimos Shipyard for aboutย 200,000 Credits.

8. Shieldbreaker – Type B

This one is perfect for pirates. By purchasing it, you can easily board other ships orย transport contraband. A large fuel supply and cargo capacity will allow you to move freely through space. If you are boarded, the spacecraft has enough room for you to maneuver and kill your enemies.

The estimated price of this vessel isย 250,000 Credits, but you can try to get it by boarding pirates.

7. Watchdog IV – Type A

Fast but with a low fuel reserve โ€” that’s what we can say about this ship. Despite this, you can spend a certain amount of money on modifications, and then it will become perfect. For all other criteria, this spaceship is excellent, with strong shields, a large cargo capacity, andย space for crew members. The ship is also different in its appearance, which will definitely set you apart from the rest.

You can buy the Watchdog IV throughout Settled Systems. The price may vary from seller to seller, as well as depending on your communication skills, but in most cases, it is aroundย 200,000.

6. Space Ox III – Type B

Large and powerful, with excellent cargo capacity and shielding, the Space Ox is ideal for goods transportation. If you are a peaceful player and rarely get into fights, we definitely recommend this model.

The price varies compared to others, and the approximate cost isย 250,000 Credits. To purchase it, visit Neon’s Ship Services.

5. Crimson Fleet Wraith – Type C

This is another representative of the Crimson Fleet, but this time, it is primarily effective space combat. Its powerful lasers make it one of the strongest ships in the game, but you’ll also need to modify its defense system to stay in a fight longer. The ship can withstand long battles, so we definitely recommend it.

The approximate cost of this monster isย 250,000 Credits, and you can buy it only at The Key.

4. Crimson Fleet Banshee – Type B

This giant ship inย Starfieldย is perfectly balanced in all characteristics. The only downside is that you’ll need to practice before you can pilot it. The vessel is ideal for attacking enemies; if you are disadvantaged, you can easily escape danger.

Again, you will have to visit The Key, where you can purchase it forย 240,000 Credits.

3. Crimson Fleet Wight III – Type C

The Crimson Fleet Wight is the last and most powerful ship from the Crimson Fleet. Players who like an aggressive combat style and never run away will definitely appreciate it. Since the only drawback of the spacecraft is its mobility, you will fight your enemies until the end. Fortunately, you have everything you need for this: strong shields, powerful weapons, and a large reserve of fuel. It is quite unlikely that anyone will dare to attack this ship. If they do, there is no way they will come out of the battle as a winner.

Such a powerful ship is available only to faction members, and you can buy it in The Key forย 300,000 Credits.

2. Renegade III – Type C

If you have developed enough in the game and are no longer looking for petty fights, the Renegade III is the perfect option for you. A massive tanker with an incredible cargo capacity will help you build outposts and complete shipping missions faster. Also, you will be able to accommodate all crew members, which is definitely a plus.

You can buy it at Neon City forย 450,000 Credits.

1. Vanquisher III – Type C

The Vanquisher is nearly identical to the previous ship but is more powerful in battles. The vessel has a rather boring appearance, but inside, you can fit everything you need. The spacecraft has excellent mobility even though it is Type C. The cargo capacity is 4,120, and this is incredibly good for putting all the loot there.

The ship is considered one of the most expensive inย Starfield, namely,ย 490,000 Credits. You can buy it from the Ship Technician in New Atlantis.

Starfield comes out on September 6th for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
