Praising Mathis’ Help before Delago
The very first time you can choose to back up Mathis is at the end of Echoes of the Past, the quest you first meet him. At the end, Delago will ask you how things have gone and there you have several options and one of them is “Thanks to Mathis’ help, we found some information about Kryx’s Legacy.”
Choosing this dialogue will be the start of your friendship with Mathis. In the end, Delago says that Mathis should join the Crimson Fleet, and Mathis will thank you when you see him again in the Nova.
Siding With Crimson Fleet
The Crimson Fleet questline is one of the biggest and most important ones in Starfield. In the end, you have to choose whether you side with the Crimson Fleet or the UC SysDef.
