Insomniac has been hard at work, and they are bringing a new gameplay system for Spider-Man 2, as shown during the State of Play of September 2023. Besides the new quest system, the State of Play 2023 showcased how changing between heroes would work in Spider-Man 2. If the footage doesn’t fool us, it’ll be instant. You can play with Peter at one time and switch to Miles on the fly. This is important as many quests will be tied to one of the Spider-Men, depending on the district. If you want to help someone at Visions Academy, you’d better bring Miles.
Undoubtedly, Spider-Man 2 aims to be one of the biggest superhero games ever made, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it. If you haven’t, you can still pre-order the game before it launches on PS5 on October 20.
