Valve has just launched the September 15 update for CS: GO, and this version includes handy changes and fixes. Unlike the September 13 patch, the latest release does not bring gameplay changes and fixes; instead, it focuses on fixes and adjustments for the Ancient and Office maps. In addition to these, it also offers players a few changes for sound and miscellaneous features. Before continuing with your matches, it’s pretty important for all folks to take a few minutes to go over the recent changes included in the September 15 update patch notes for CS: GO.

Maps

Office

  • Adjusted the weight of the vending machine
  • Various fixes

Ancient

  • Various clipping adjustments

Sound

  • Tuned the vertical audio occlusion of grenade sounds in Nuke and Vertigo
  • Adjusted ambient sounds in Office
  • Adjusted silenced weapon falloff

Misc

  • Fixed a case where an AK47 headshot would not deal lethal damage
  • Adjusted nametag location for Shadow Daggers

The changes regarding the latest CS: GO update are listed above. It’s not a major overhaul, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have handy changes. In addition to the changes made on the maps, the update includes fixes and adjustments to some annoying bugs, such as fixing a case where an AK47 headshot would not deal lethal damage and adjusting the nametag location for Shadow Daggers. There are also sound-related changes, such as adjusting ambient sounds in the Office and adjusting silenced weapon falloff. While all of this doesn’t improve gameplay, it does provide a better experience while eliminating other annoying issues.

If you would like to apply the recent changes to your saved file, CS: GO players can access the in-game content of the September 15 update via Steam on PC. Furthermore, if you’re looking for more patch notes for the game, you can find the September 2 update right here.
