Yet all hope is not lost — Colossal Order has announced their latest Cities:Skylines expansion Cities: Skylines Natural Disasters which plans on giving control to the players; control over the demise ( or security, if you are into that sort of thing) is safely back in your hands. Maybe you should wash those hands…
Cities: Skylines Natural Disasters is finally bringing the megalomaniac infused powers of pure destruction to the player, something that has been absent since C:S launched back in 2015. Still, Skylines isn’t just concerned with a childlike destruction of your city; they understand you might also wanna, you know, save your city from impending doom as well.

Like everything else in Cities: Skylines, players will have options in how they deal with the biblical disasters that will be wrought upon your poor little city. Not being satisfied with immature destruction, Skylines wants players to plan evacuation routes, set up early warning emergency systems, and administer effective post-emergency care for your populace.

- Radio Saved the Video Game: Citizens can go Radio Ga-Ga with a new broadcast network, helping to rapidly spread evacuation warnings and emergency alerts – or simply relax to new in-game music stations
- An Objectively Good Feature: Scenario Mode allows players to design custom game objectives, including custom starting cities, win conditions, time limits, and more – and share scenarios to Steam Workshop
- Chirpocalypse Now: Heck yeah, new hats for Chirper
With their last expansions, Snowfall and After Dark, adding a snowy wonderland to manage and a vibrant nightlife to watch over, Cities: Skylines Natural Disasters adding one more link in the long chain of city-management options.
