This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

One of the best things about Cyberpunk 2077 is how the game separates different missions into different categories. Taking a job as a mercenary will always be known as Gig and some of them have a great plots and mission design as well. Phantom Liberty added its own share of Gigs to the game like Spy in the Jungle. You might struggle with finding the location of the mission or how to deal with the boss fight of the quest. So use this guide to help yourself and complete the Spy in the Jungle gig in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty with ease.

Most of the Gigs and Side Quests in Phantom Liberty become available after you complete the main quest called The Damned. After you complete that quest a series of Gigs will become available and one of them is the Spy in the Jungle. You can find this gig in the Southwest of the map. Once you get there Mr. Hands, the fixer of Dogtown will contact you to give the information about this gig.

Speaking with the Agents

Your first will be to “Go to Room 203”. The room is located on the second floor of Paradise Hotel. Go inside and the Brazilian agents will tell you they need a person named Mark Bana. They will add that his biomonitor shows his known location was the Organitopia. Once you’ve exhausted the conversation with agents, head to Terra Cognita.

There will be a couple of enemies near the entrance guarding the place. Take care of them and go inside. Here you must find an entrance to the facility. On the left side, down the stairs, you can walk through a blown door and then open shutters using at least Body 3 ability to go inside. On your right side, there will be a panel that you can use to gain access to the facility. In the meantime, Mark Bana will contact you to give you guidance on where to find him.

Heading through the door will you to the main atrium. There will be a bunch more scans and some land mines. If you can, stealth is the better option here. But if you don’t want to then make sure you don’t rush into the battle to avoid stepping on land mines. Simply follow the marker until you reach a large room.

At the back of the room will be a staircase going up to the arcade room. The room will be filled with enemies so be prepared. Once you’ve dealt with them, head down the hallway and on your right side you will see the Museum Hall. Then Mark will call you and say to use the staircase in the next room so you can reach his location. Afterwards, the door will be open for you.

When you try to open the door that leads to Mark, Boris Ribakov, the boss fighter of this quest will appear. Defeating him will be challenging due to his fast movements and use of smokescreens to hide himself. Using a smart weapon will make the boss fight much easier for you. Once his health reaches 60%, four drones will appear as well. It is best to deal with them first and then put all your focus and effort on Ribakov.

Finish him off and then loot his body to get the Tier 5 Iconic Smart Submachine Gun called Pizdets, one of the rewards in Spy in the Jungle quest in Phantom Liberty. Then open the door you were trying to get through before Boris interrupted. The room will be empty but there is a secret doorway you can find by using your scanner. Once you get inside you will meet Katya Karelina instead of Mark Bana.

As it seems, Bana died and Miss Karelina used his biomonitor to lure you into saving her. Then Ana will contact you to kill her and get the biomonitor. You can have two choices here. You can either kill her and get biomonitor or let her live. It is best to let her live since she will give you the biomonitor as well as the location of a stash that you can look for after the quest is complete.

Choose Between Santos and Ana

Nonetheless, you will be contacted by Steven Santos to deliver to biomonitor to him rather than Ana. Again, you have to choose between giving the biomonitor to Santos or Ana. If you give the item to Santos he will reward you with $4,000 but Ana will reward you with $6,000 Eddies. If you give the item to Ana, Mr. Santos will be upset but the gig will be completed regardless.
