In Phantom Liberty, you will mostly get side quests and gigs from a character called Mr. Hands. One of those gigs is called ” The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman.” In this gig, you are hired to kill the person who caused a massacre. If you choose your dialogues correctly, you will get an extra reward, so here is how to complete The Man Who Killed Jason Foremen in Phantom Liberty to get the best result.
When you reach the marked location, Mr. Hands will contact you and give you the required info. If you go at night, Briana will be there and you can talk with her. But if you go daytime, you have to wait on the bench until she arrives. After you speak with her, she says what happened here and why you must bring Jason Foreman’s dog tags to him.
Before going to Rinder’s place, you have the optional objective of investigating the area. It’s not necessary, but if you do, there will be some information about who you are dealing with. The main areas you should scan are the bullet holes on the trailer and the blood stains on the floor next to it. Then as you want to get out scan the smashed car and footprints to complete this objective. Now use the menu and select shards from the Journal section. Crack the data you got from Briana to get the location of Rinder.
Before you go to Rinder’s place, make sure you have a powerful weapon. A powerful sniper with 200+ damage will do the trick. You can buy them at any weapon shop in the game. Once you are prepared, head to the building where Jason Foreman is being held.
How to Defeat the Boss Fight in The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman in Phantom Liberty
You can take this place out using stealth, but guns blazing works just as well since the basic enemies aren’t tough.
After taking them out, head upstairs and prepare for a bunch of more scavs coming your way. There will be two locked doors that you can open with high Technical Ability and Body level to get more loot. One is on the ground floor to your right and the other is on the second floor.
Once you’ve taken care of everyone on the second floor, head to the end of the floor and use the stairs on the balcony to reach the third floor. This floor will be empty since you will be facing the boss fight of this gig, Yasha Ivanov. Head straight and turn left to access the room where Rinder is held. The moment you open it, his huge bodyguard will come and throw you out.
Yasha sheer size makes it tough for him quickly. Since he is slow, you can easily use your sniper rifle from a distance. After a few hits, he will use camouflage to hide himself. If you track him before he cloaks and runs, use a pistol or an SMG to disable his camo. You have to repeat this a few times before he dies.
How to Get Rinder’s Stash in Phantom Liberty
After you’ve dealt with Ivanov, you can meet the beaten Rinder, lying on his bed. You have two options here, straight up killing him and getting dog tags or letting him live. Since Briana mentioned she only needs the dog tags, you can persuade him to give them to you. As it seems, Rinder is suffering from cyberpsychosis and wants to get treated.
Avoid the dialogue with the gun icon beside it to avoid killing Rinder. Once you’ve exhausted the dialogue options, Rinder will give you the location of his stash and dog tags. Now you have to return the dog tags to Briana. As you walk out, another side quest by the title of Addicted to Chaos will be unlocked. This quest will guide you to Rinder’s stash.
Lastly, speak with Briana and give her the dog tags. With that, The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman will be completed. Make sure to check our website for more Cyberpunk 2077 content.
