This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

After Mr. Door finishes his strange interview with Alan Wake on In Between With Mr. Door during the chapter Late Night, Alan’s perception of the world becomes hazy. As you wander around the abandoned studio, trying to wrap your head around everything that just happened, you’ll need to find your way out. It isn’t completely obvious what you need to do, so we wrote out exactly how to exit the talk show studio in Alan Wake 2.

When you first leave, you’ll be blocked by a door that has a keypad the the right of it. To find the code, you’re going to want to head into the dressing room for the popular heavy metal band, Old Gods of Asgard. When you first walk into the room, Alan will have a short dialogue with himself about how the band sounds familiar as he treads through the strewn instruments and sheets of music. If you continue walking all the way to the back of the room, then you’ll see a neon sign posted above the couch that reads “665, Neighbors of the Beast.” You’ll need to plug the number 6-6-5 in the keypad in order to get the door to open so that you can leave.

How Do You Exit The Second Door?

When you come across the door again for the second time, you’ll need to go back to the Old Gods of Asgard’s dressing room again. This time, the lights on the sign will be flickering differently, showing the numbers 5-6-5 instead. Plug that number into the keypad to escape through that door as well.

How Do You Leave The Basement?

Once you’re given the basement key by Ahti, you’ll need to head in and walk straight until you find a well-lit room. In the will be a shoebox that has a lamp inside, as Ahti promised earlier. You’ll need to use the lamp to absorb the light in the room by pressing and holding the F key on your keyboard, the X button on your PS5 controller, or the A button on your Xbox controller.

A new room will appear where you will need to exit and keep going until you find the next room with an interactable light. Transfer the light from your map to the light using the same method as before to reveal another new room that you can enter. You’ll want to use your lamp again in this room to be able to walk through the door and leave through the talk show studio halls. Go all the way down the hallway to your right until you see a door that you can exit through.

You’ll be met with a room that has a television inside tuned to static. Use your lamp again in this room to activate a cutscene and end your journey through the talk show studio.
