The weather in Sandrock isn’t the only hot thing for characters to experience. Pathea’s latest title brings many characters that players can befriend and romance if you’re willing to put in the effort. Unlike Portia, though, My Time at Sandrock has some of the best bachelors and bachelorettes in the My Time series. We’ll be focusing on the latter, though. So, if you’re unsure who to pick as your lifelong virtual partner, we’ve got you covered.
Honestly, finding the top 5 bachelorettes was a difficult task for the team. We all love most of them as they have fantastic personalities and fun missions. However, after much discussion, we narrowed the list to the best five. We focused on their impact on the game, background, and interactions with the player’s character. So, without further ado, let’s begin.
5. Amirah
Hailing all the way from Barnarock, we have Amirah. She’s the last on our list, but that doesn’t mean she’s the worst. She’s Arvio’s sister, and you can tell that by listening to her accent. Oddly enough, they are mentioned in the first game. Since Amirah owns a pottery shop in Sandrock, her tales have traveled to other places of the Free Cities. She has plenty of quests for the player, which digs into her personality even further. Heck, she’s even one of the first to give you a gift. Overall, she is a great choice for anyone who wants an artsy partner.
4. Grace
There’s more than meets the eye to the Blue Moon Saloon’s cook. Grace is a student who comes from Atara, and she’s working on a thesis about old-world media. While at first, she might seem like the run-of-the-mill archeologist character, she’s actually fantastic. She is not afraid to fight and is always looking for ways to sneak into The Breach. While Justice always stops her and instead asks the player character to help Grace with her research, she’s a brave character and an excellent choice for any player.
3. Mi-An
There’s nothing more romantic than starting a new adventure together in a faraway town. That’s the reason why Mi-An is one of the best bachelorettes in My Time at Sandrock. Despite the things she endures in the game, which are quite sad, she’s always facing everything head-on and with a big smile. She’s the first to jump to help the residents of Sandrock and the player. Besides, she’s the one who welcomes you, so you might as well call this a love-at-first-sight situation. If that wasn’t enough, her romance mission is one of the best in the game.
2. Catori
Museum curator and owner? Check. Game complex owner? Check. With Catori, you have the best of many worlds. She’s in charge of restoring Sandrock’s museum to its former glory, but she’s also the owner of the game center in the town. Whether you like to visit her while restoring artifacts or spend some coins in her gaming center, there are many excuses to romance this character. Also, her missions include some gamer-themed ones, making her the perfect match for us hardcore gamers.
1. Nia
It’s fun to put a character who initially interacts with you through letters at the top of the list, but we have our reasons. First, she’s the character’s childhood friend and always sends letters to see how your progress goes. Since the game’s official launch, she’s now romanceable, meaning she’ll spend more time in Sandrock after her visit. What wooed us was the feeling of having someone to talk to after a hard day’s work, even if it was through letters. Nia felt like the most personal relationship at all times, and we’re glad to see more of her in Sandrock finally.
Choosing the best bachelorettes of My Time at Sandrock was challenging, especially because the developers knocked romance out of the park this time. If you’re unsure about your choice, there’s always the option to date them all, marry one, divorce them, and repeat the process. However, that doesn’t seem to go well with the game’s style, but hey, ultimately, the game’s a sandbox, or should we say Sandrock?
