It’s finally time for Bungie to announce the new Destiny 2 Season of the Wish. After hearing about all the layoffs at Bungie, most players weren’t even expecting a new season right away, much less a season that means this much to Guardians. However, they definitely didn’t let that slow them down. Toward the end of the Season of the Witch, a community-wide puzzle was introduced into the game, which we had to solve to learn about the upcoming season, Season of the Wish. However, during the puzzle that made Guardians everywhere go wild, Bungie released a start date and time for the Destiny 2 Season of the Wish.

The Destiny 2 Season of the Wish is set to begin on November 28th, 2023. As with all previous season releases, there’s a good chance you will be able to update the game within the 24 hours leading up to the daily reset time on November 28th. Daily reset will happen at 12:00 PM EST.

To even reveal the Season of the Wish, players must complete the final test in the Imbaru Engine, the Test of Truth and Lies. The test requires you to collect three green flames and put them into altars before even gaining entrance to the final test, then figuring out how to ignite Hive Runes in the correct order.

How To Prepare for the Season of the Wish

Since we still have time before the beginning of the season, there are still plenty of chances to finish up everything you can from the Season of the Witch. You can finally finish up The Bladed Path, or work on completing all the Seasonal Challenges.

Personally, I will be working on collecting all the missing cards from the Deck of Whispers that I passed up in my normal gameplay and running through the seasonal challenges a few more times while I still can. However, there are plenty of things you could do. We suggest putting some focus on the seasonal activities, challenges, and weapons that you won’t have access to once the season ends.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
