With the recent release of new DLC, Gunfire Games’ eerie co-op shooter has a lot of new content, ranging from unique enemies and bosses to powerful weapons and equipment. Next, we’ll show you how to get the Ritualist Scythe Blade in Remnant 2: The Awakened King. To get this powerful weapon, you’ll need to explore the Forgotten Commune and fight Befouled Altar, twice. This way you will get 2 parts of Ritualist Scythe, and then you can combine them.
Remnant 2: The Awakened King – Where to Find Parts of Ritualist Scythe
First, you will need to explore new territories, namely the Forgotten Commune. It appears randomly in Losomn. In our case, the entrance to Forgotten Commune was found through the door near Leywise, but for you, the location may be in a different place.
So, once you get to the Forgotten Commune, further searches become easier. The dungeon area is relatively small, so explore it to find the altar. The main landmarks will be purple candles, as well as people and skeletons tied to wooden beams. When you find this altar, start shooting at it. Basically, this is the boss you need to defeat, and its full name is Befouled Altar.
The altar itself will not attack you, but instead, it will summon enemies to confront you. Ranging from common to elite, you’ll need to handle waves of monsters, while simultaneously dealing damage to the boss by shooting at the same altar. After a long fight and killing the boss, you will receive one of the Ritualist Scythe parts. It will be either the Scythe Blade or the Scythe Hilt.
After getting the first part of the weapon, you will have to find the second. This is not too difficult to do because the strategy is the same: You need to find another altar and defeat the boss again. Once you get the 2 parts of the weapon, the last thing to do is to put them together.
Remnant 2: How to Combine Parts of Ritualist Scythe
After finding both parts of the weapon, you will not need to go to McCabe in Ward 13 or interact with other NPCs. Instead, you can do it yourself. All you have to do is open your inventory and select Scythe Hilt to “Inspect” it. The next step is to rotate the item until the bone-covered end is facing you and the “Interact” button appears. When this happens, interact with the item to select another part of the weapon to combine them together. If you do it right, you’ll combine the two parts and get the Ritualist Scythe Blade in Remnant 2: The Awakened King.
