Although the abandoned buildings and vast expanses of distant moons in Lethal Company are filled with bloodthirsty creatures, not all want you dead, and Spore Lizard is a prime example of this. Being a giant lizard with a wide mouth and a tail like a rattlesnake, Spore Lizards can scare any unprepared player. But all experienced players know that meeting the Spore Lizard is nothing more than a breath of fresh air among all the horrors lurking in the shadows. However, there are some things you should know when meeting the Spore Lizard, and we are here to tell you about them.
How To Deal with Spore Lizard in Lethal Company
As we said, you may be scared the first time encounter a Spore Lizard in the dark corridors of abandoned buildings of Lethal Company. The giant size of the Lizard and its mouth do not inspire a sense of security, and loud hissing and squeaking sounds only heat the situation. Many will prefer to run away but will not notice their pursuer when they turn around. After all, the Spore Lizards are much more afraid of you than you are of them. Despite their frightening appearance, they are harmless and will not harm you if you do not touch them or come too close.
These creatures walk peacefully through the corridors and rooms pursuing their lizard goals and do not like the company of annoying people. Therefore, they will try to avoid meeting you. And having failed to cope with this task, they will scare you away in all possible ways. There are three stages of repelling, and not all of them are equally harmless:
- During the first stage, the Lizard will open its mouth and make loud noises. This action is intended only to scare you away and will not cause any damage.
- During the next stage, the monster will release a pink spore cloud that will blur and briefly impair your vision. This attack does not deal any damage but can be a death sentence if there are other monsters nearby.
- If the previous methods didn’t scare you away, the Spore Lizard will bite you but don’t worry. This monster is a herbivore, and its teeth do negligible damage. So you will have to chase it for a very long time so that the Spore Lizard has at least a chance of biting you to death.
Should You Kill the Spore Lizard?
If you want to kill a Spore Lizard, you can achieve this goal with just 3-4 hits of Shovel or Sign-Post. But this is pointless since the Spore Lizard is not your enemy. We do not recommend harming this creature since its death will not bring you anything. Think of this monster as a friendly traveler who has his own goals and doesn’t want to fight. Rest assured, after spending dozens of hours in the game, you will be happy to notice a Spore Lizard in an empty room and not someone like Thumper. After going through all the horrors, the hissing of this cute monster will become nothing more than a sweet song that instills a sense of security.
