Zeekerss’ sci-fi horror hit is the hot new game on the block, and even though it’s a small-scale indie title made by just one person, it’s managing to surpass concurrent players of many AAA games like Apex Legends and Call of Duty. With it growing in popularity, many players out there may be wondering whether Lethal Company is coming to consoles. If so, here are all the deets.
We’ll cut right to the chase: At the time of writing, there are currently no plans to bring Lethal Company to PS4, PS5,
There are several likely reasons why the solo developer behind Lethal Company isn’t planning for and hasn’t launched a console port. Firstly, the game is still in its Early Access phase of development on PC, which means that it hasn’t fully released its 1.0 version yet. In other words, even though it’s purchasable on Steam for $7.99/£8.49 or your local equivalent, it’s still very much a work in progress.
In addition, as the co-op title is being handled by a solo developer, the speed at which updates and changes are made will naturally take a little longer than other, larger studios.
Of course, a console port to another platform will be a huge undertaking for one person, so Zeekerss is probably hard at work focusing on finishing off the PC version and fully launching it on Steam.
The good news? While there’s no confirmation of a console part right now, many of us hope that Lethal Company could be ported to consoles in the future. However, this is just us and many more players being high on “hopium” and are just speculating about it. Right now, there is no official word that that is happening.
