Destiny 2: When Does the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon Start? Answered

Can we just run Warlord’s Ruin already?

This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Figuring out when a new Dungeon, like Warlod’s Ruin, will start in Destiny 2. We typically get a new one every season, but they don’t release right along with the season, either. Though, I can’t say I blame Bungie for that one. Dungeons are typically a pretty big thing, so they would easily take quite a bit of the focus away from any new Season of the Wish content and activities. However, once the “new season” hype dies down a bit, the Warlord’s Ruin Destiny 2 Dungeon will come in to take the spotlight a few days later.

Warlord’s Ruin Start Date and Time

The Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon is set to begin on December 1st at 9 am PT on every platform that Destiny 2 is available. If you have purchased the Lightfall Annual Pass along with the last big expansion that was released, then you will already have access to Warlord’s Ruin, along with the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon. However, if you don’t have it purchased, you can always purchase a Dungeon Key from the Eververse Store.

As of right now, there isn’t too much that we know about the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon yet, but that’s sure to change in the near future. However, we can surely guess that judging by the Light Level recommendations for the more difficult of the Seasonal Activities during the Season of the Wish, Warlord’s Ruin will likely release with a Light Level of 1810.

If Warlord’s Ruin follows the usual patterns that previous Destiny 2 Dungeons have laid out for us, we’ll have to face some gnarly bosses, interesting gameplay, and according to the current season, possibly even puzzles and confusion. However, anything can change. We are, after all, entering into the last season in Destiny 2 history. If there’s ever a time to switch things up, this would be it.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
