Wishing Glass is one of the big currencies within Destiny 2‘s Season of the Wish. If you intend to participate in any of the seasonal activities, you really must know how to get your hands on as much Wishing Glass as possible. Wishing Glass is used to purchase Dragon’s Gifts within the Coil activity, and let me tell you, The Coil is hard as heck, even with the Dragon’s Gift buffs. You really don’t want to miss out on being able to purchase them just because you don’t have the proper currencies.

Where To Find Wishing Glass

Wishing Glass is pretty easy to get your hands on, particularly since it drops in the very seasonal activity that requires you to use it. However, if you don’t know the right place to look, it can be pretty tricky to find them. First, you should head into The Coil activity, which can be found on the Destinations tab within the H.E.L.M. Once you head in, your first objective will point you in the right direction.

You must break open the vase that stands between you and Riven. When you approach the vase, you can simply shoot at it with whatever weapon you currently have equipped. When it bursts open, you’ll find the ground around it covered in small red and white triangle-shaped objects. There are all Fused Wishing Glass pieces in varying rarities.

Throughout your run of The Coil, you will find vases hidden behind foliage, in corners, and in random small caves that can be found off the beaten path. Each of these vases contains Wishing Glass that you can pick up and use to purchase Drgaon’s Gifts from Riven. Though you might also find that Wishing Glass occasionally drops from enemies when they die, too, but in much smaller amounts. Bosses tend to drop quite a bit more Wishing Glass than normal enemies do, but it’s important to note that outside of the first chest you must break, any other pieces are free for anyone in the activity to pick up. That said, if you’re not quick about it, you might not be able to grab too many of them.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
