When you first step into the world of Lego Fortnite, the Cuddle Team Leader is the only person you can shelter and survive with. How To Craft Shortsword in Lego Fortnite
When you first jump into the game and are still exploring, you can aggro some of the creatures and get yourself killed. The enemies are extremely ruthless and unpredictable, and can sometimes take you by surprise. Therefore, especially if you haven’t crafted any weapons after starting the game, you need to be very careful and avoid dangers.
You might be thinking that a small Spider or an already dead Skeleton won’t be a problem for you, but in Lego Fortnite, you’ll have bigger problems than that. For example, creatures aren’t the only things you have to fight in this world. You also have to defend yourself against other evil Lego characters. There are roaming Lego characters that wander around the game in groups like bandits, and if they see you, they’ll hurt you big time, especially if you don’t even own a simple Shortsword in Lego Fortnite.
For these reasons, you need to craft a Crafting Bench as soon as possible by collecting 3 Wood and 5 Granite. You’ll also need an additional 8 Wood and 15 Granite for a Lumber Mill. Since you will not have a Pickaxe or Axe, you’ll need to collect small pieces of Granite and Wood lying on the ground.
When you go to the foot of trees or bushes, you can sometimes see Wood on the floor, which you can collect without the need for an axe. In the same way, when you go near big granite stones, you can see small pieces of stone right next to them. And you can pick them up by holding down your interact button without needing a Pickaxe.
Follow these steps to craft a Shortsword after gathering the required resources in Lego Fortnite:
- Gather the necessary materials then use your “Q” button to open the build menu and select Crafting Bench.
- Select the spot where you want to put the Crafting Bench.
- Then press “Q” again to open the build menu and this time craft a Lumber Mill.
- Produce 5 Wooden Rods in the Lumber Mill.
- Then go to the Crafting Bench and click on the sword icon to craft your Shortsword for 5 Wooden Rods in Lego Fortnite.
