This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Porygon has been with us from the very beginning of the Pokemon series. Since its introduction, it’s been able to evolve into two new Pokemon: Porygon2 and Porygon-z. Much like Eevee, there are different requirements needed for Porygon to evolve into one or the other. Check out how to get and evolve Porygon into Porygon2 and Porygon-Z in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk.

You can find Porygon in the following areas:

  • The icy Polar Biome.
  • Within the Chargestone Caverns.

Once you have one, you can evolve it into Porygon2 or Porygon-Z in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk by trading it. For Porygon2, your Porygon needs to be traded while holding an Upgrade item. For Porygon-Z, Porygon needs to be traded while holding a Dubious Disc. After the trade, the person to whom you traded Porygon will witness the evolution. You don’t need to level up your Porygon to any particular level before you do this.

Where To Get an Upgrade and a Dubious Disc

You can find both the Upgrade and the Dubious Disc in the League Club store:

  • Upgrade – 250 BP
  • Dubious Disc – 250 BP
