Japan’s shyest heroine, Shy, announced that she will get Season 2 of her anime adaptation. It has yet to finish its first season, which started in October 2023 as part of the fall season, and has already announced its continuation. So far, there will be 24 episodes between the two seasons. So there is a lot of time left for Shy to improve her powers and, as a heroine, to defeat the Amarariruku and Stigma. For now, there is no announcement about the release date for the second part of this superhero anime.
Shy Anime Reveals New Cast Members for Its Season 2
Shy has captured everyone’s hearts since her debut in Weekly Shōnen Champion in August 2019, which secured her anime adaptation. In each episode, fans have watched as the timid Shy has strived to keep the hearts of the world and her loved ones safe. But in the anime, only a little of the story behind the group of colorful villains, which apparently will have new members. The official Shy webpage shared that Shunichi Toki, the voice of Leo de la Iglesias in Yuri!!! on Ice, will be Doki’s voice. Also, Saori Hayami, known for RWBY‘s Ruby Rose voice, will be Inori for Season 2 of Shy.
Also, there isn’t information about whether Studio 8-Bit will continue with the Season 2 anime adaptation of Shy. But so far, it has done a great job on Shy, as in other projects such as the Fate franchise and Helck. It is still doubtful if Masaomi Andō will also continue as director of this fantasy and superhero project. But Western fans hope that Crunchyroll will keep the license to continue broadcasting Shy in simulcast and with English subtitles in its continuation.
Shy‘s anime continues to air every Monday on Crunchyroll and is about to conclude its first season.
