You can interact with various friendly animals in LEGO Fortnite and pet them. Once interacted with, they give you small resources such as Milk, Eggs, and Wool. But you must lure animals if you plan to build a farm for a more stable influx of resources in LEGO Fortnite. Although hunting is always an option for these resources, farming animals is more efficient. This process may appear somewhat complex initially, but it becomes straightforward once you become familiar with it.
Steps to Lure Animals
You can lure animals of LEGO Fortnite by feeding them with one of their favorite foods:
- Chickens like Corn, Pumpkin, and Raspberry.
- Cows like Vines, Raspberry, and Pumpkin.
- Sheep like Raspberries and Pumpkins.
You will know whether they are interested in the food on your hand when question marks appear around their head.
But do not try to lure any other animals like wolves. For fun, I tried to give a piece of meat to a wolf and got some damage. Below are the steps you can follow to lure animals in LEGO Fortnite:
- Build a Pen. Before you start luring animals, it is essential to have a place to keep them. It would be best to make the fences high enough so animals can not jump over them. Placing one piece of Plank Railing 03 on top of another is the best method to have the necessary height.
- Gather enough food to lure animals and stack them into one. Then, dropping them on the path to drive animals to the pen will be easy.
- Go and search for wild animals you want to lure.
- Drop the food near the animal and start dropping them on the path to the pen until they are inside.
Can You Breed Animals in LEGO Fortnite?
No, you can’t breed animals in LEGO Fortnite. Breeding animals is unavailable in LEGO Fortnite; you can only use the luring method mentioned above to bring wild animals into your pen. However, like many other Sandbox games, animal breeding is one of the fans’ top requests.
Epic Games might add that option to the game; similarly, they recently changed the tools’ durability due to players’ requests. However, if players have the animal breeding option, they will explore less for the resources. This may be why the feature has not been added to the game since exploration is a major part of the game.
