If you are anything like me, your walls and shelves are adorned with posters, plushies, and action figures from all things even slightly nerd related. We take pride in collecting things from games, movies, films, and animes that we thoroughly enjoy, and Mark Hamill‘s new show Pop Culture Quest celebrates that very venture.

You may recognize Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, or maybe as The Joker, or maybe even as the Trickster in The Flash. Needless to say, Hamill really needs no introduction. Now he is teaming up with Comic-Con HQ to bring us Pop Culture Quest. The internet show will provide viewers with not only a look at Hamill’s personal collection but his conquest to add more to his collection. Hamill is joined by a puppeted friend, Pop, voiced by Dan Milano, and together they delve down the nerdy rabbit hole. Pop Culture Quest is a 10 episode series that will provide background on anything from Power Rangers  to sneakers. Unfortunately, the series is only available the Comic-Con HQ’s subscription service, but lucky for us, the first two episodes are available on YouTube.

The first episode features Hamill visiting DC Comics’ headquarters to speak with Jim Lee, one of their main comic artists. After a brief summary of Batman’s history with Detective Comics and a brief look into their archive, Jim Lee draws up a Joker sketch that would make anyone jealous.

The second episode of Pop Culture Quest focuses on Japanese pop culture with Godzilla and Power Rangers. And yes, it is as great as it sounds. During the episode, we get a look at the collection of the head honcho at Power Morphicon, Scott Zillner.

There are 8 more episodes to be seen, and you can find them on Comic-Con HQ’s subscription service. The episodes here are super interesting, and I promise, you’ll be thirsty for more!
