The new batch of leaks of Genshin Impact arrived, and this time, one shows the possible order for the banners of version 4.4. This next patch will come during Chinese New Year 2024, so players always expect HoYoverse to have a big event for the Lantern Rite. Also, the story focused only on Liyue and her characters in past years. So, it’s no wonder that the drip marketing of Gaming and Cloud Retainer is already there. But these leaks show what the banners for the upcoming 5-start characters might look like.

For the Lantern Rite, Liyue characters usually appear for the story and banners. In the 2023 event, HoYoverse added Yelan and Yaoyao to the roster of playable characters. Yelan was the new 5-star character, while Yaoyao had a 4-star rarity. What’s more, players could get her for free at the event. Also, almost as tradition, the leaks mention that Xiao will return in his re-run for the Genshin Impact 4.4 version banners. With the leaks, the fans believe that phase 1 will get Nahida’s re-run and the debut of Xianyun, or Cloud Retainer.

For version 4.4 of Genshin Impact, Xiao and Yae Miko will return in phase 2 of the banners. Yae Miko has many fans who will try to get more constellations of her. Although the community always expects the special appearance of the Yaksha in the Lantern Rite. In 2023, Xiao briefly appeared when the Traveler searched for clues about the mysterious melody heard by Dvorak’s ancestor.

There’s still no information about who will be the 4-start characters in these banner leaks, but the 4.4 update has yet to arrive in Genshin Impact. The Lantern Rite celebration is during the Chinese New Year in February.
