There aren’t many brands in this world that are as iconic and far-reaching as Pokemon. Ever since their debut decades ago, the marketability of the world’s most adorable pocket monsters has been clear. These days, you can find Pokemon nearly anywhere you look: they’re on everything from furniture to Tiffany necklaces. The latest collaboration sees Pokemon teaming up with luxury brand Fendi to release a Dragonite-themed accessories and apparel line. As one might expect from Fendi, the collab isn’t cheap, but if the $6000 price tag isn’t enough to scare you off, this new designer line may be for you.

Fendi Releases New Pricey Pokemon Collection

The Fendi x FRGMT x Pokemon collaboration went live on the designer’s website this morning, advertising a clothing line and various accessories themed around Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite. Fendi describes the collection as “mini pop monuments”, and however you want to take that, we have to give them credit for venturing away from the usual Pikachu, Eevee, or Charizard designs.

However, if you’re a Dragonite fan who’s interested in some luxurious merch, be prepared for the line’s hefty price tag. The new Fendi x Pokemon collab line’s lowest end has a silk scarf for $240, while the upper end has a small handbag for nearly $10,000. The collection also includes wallets, handbags, jewelry, t-shirts, accessories, and even an umbrella. The price tags will almost certainly be enough to turn some fans off of the new line, especially ones without the money to spare.

If real-life fashion isn’t your thing but you’re a Pokemon Go player, you can still get into the collab. Redeeming the code FENDIxFRGMTxPOKEMON will grant you a Fendi x Pokemon collab hoodie for your in-game avatar. More rewards can also be claimed in Fendi shops with PokeStops inside if you want your avatar to be dressed to the nines.
